Few villages around Annapurna and Everest including Langtang established simple lodges for trekkers in those days popularly known as Tea House. The name still carries and present with Tea-House Trekking then changed into Lodge Treks.
Where all meals was served by the camping cook carrying most of the food from nearest town and cities. Similarly, trekkers accommodate in two men spacious tents with an options (for single tent supplement at extra cost).

The other ways is to drive to Jiri as well to Phaplu then following the old classic route to Everest base camp.

As Langtang area could provide much better but huge earthquake that shook Nepal Mid-East and Mid West is the cause. Much of the villages and lodges were destroyed by 2015 earthquakes but the positive factor is still to consider. The lodge on route to Langtang valley and around Gosainkunda area slowly coming back to normal as it was before the deadly tremors.
But around Langtang, one can find good and comfortable lodge and guest houses .These are available around towns and main villages with Home Stay in local cottage rewards you along with warm hospitality.

Besides Annapurna-Everest and Langtang area , there are other popular trekking routes around Nepal Mid West. Slowly Manaslu and Tsum Valley trekking gaining popular because of not being crowded.
At Manaslu from the start to an end of the walk, one can find good comfortable room accommodation in local lodges.The trek routes starts from Arughat town onto Samdu the last village of Manaslu valley have such accommodations.
Most places can provide only basic and standard room accommodation till to the base of Larke-la pass. The lodges with good accommodation around Jagat-Philm-Dyang-Lo Gaon and at Sama Gaon to Samdu village of basic and simple accommodation but clean rooms with nice warm beds.
At Dharmasala or Larke Phedi, one can get basic accommodation due to the nature of the country terrain and climate with limited lodges to stay.
Beyond Manaslu, on crossing Larke-la, the accommodation in lodge from Bhimthang to Dharapani is of good standard. These lodges have various options to choose from single room accommodation to attached bathrooms.
Tsum Valley a newly opened area for visitors where villages can provide you only with simple and basic accommodation. But you will get good food(which includes most popular Nepali foods and also few international cuisine) menu and warm cozy rooms to stay as far to Mu Gompa. From Gompa half of the trek on Manaslu route diverts further east from Dyang village to Tsum Valley.
As the area gets more visitors in future, lodge accommodation will certainly change from standard to deluxe facilities to accommodate its guests.
