Everest Base Camp Trek Cost

One frequently asked question is about the Everest Base Camp Trek cost. Many people want to know about the cost of the trek. So the price depends on several things. You can do the EBC trek two ways: through a trekking agency or yourself.

The trek can be economical if you do a solo trek by yourself. However, that takes a lot of effort. You must arrange everything from permits, tickets, and accommodation to meals. Yes, this is a budget traveling option. But you need to be ready to do all the things by yourself. You have to do bargaining with the teahouse owners, arrange meals, navigate your way, and more. If you are up for this challenge, you can solo trek and save money.

We guess that type of traveling is not everyone’s cup of tea. That is full of hassles. Traveling to a foreign region all by yourself is not an easy task. That is where the licensed local trekking agency comes in handy. The Everest Base Camp Trek cost with the agency is already fixed. In our case, the short Everest Base Camp Trek 10 days cost USD 1050 per person. However, there are plenty of international and local agencies charging more.

The cost will cover various tour expenses from arrival to departure. All the basic trek expenses are included. Our team is full of experience and value. Our package cost is fair and reasonable. You can check what is included and what is not in the charge for more details above. We believe in the best service as per the price.

Overall, the Everest Base Camp Trek cost depends on timing and your spending habits. If it’s the peak season for the trek, the price can go for various reasons and vice versa. Similarly, the cost can go up if you like to spend more. For an economic EBC trek, you can remember us. We have been offering the best price.

Children on Short Everest Base Camp Trek

As said earlier, this short EBC trek is only for strict and experienced trekkers. This EBC itinerary has no rest or acclimatization day. It is just a quick way of reaching the base camp of Mt. Everest. We believe it takes great experience and preparation to do this short version of the Everest Base Camp Trek. Thus, it is better not to bring children or underage people on this plan. However, we accept people older than ten years for other easy or moderate treks. We can talk more about this if you want. Just give us a call.

Water on Short Everest Base Camp Trek

Water is available on the trek. You can use bottled water or boiled water. The tea houses and shops along the trail sell bottled water. Or you can drink the tap water, which the locals drink, using water purifying tablets. This option is more budget-friendly. Hence, do not forget to bring enough water-purifying tablets.

Shorten the Short Everest Base Camp Trek

If you want to shorten the EBC Trek, you have good options. This itinerary is already a shorter one. However, you can add a helicopter if you want to make it even faster. Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek is one good option. In this package, you will add a helicopter return from Kala Patthar and save two days. You will get to experience both trek and helicopter tours in one trip.

Otherwise, you can opt for the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour. It is a one-day tour where you will fly to Everest Base Camp and return. This option is better if you have less time and a reasonable budget. The trip does not involve trekking, just flying on a chopper.

  • Yet another trip with Eco Holidays Nepal team. This trek offers a condensed yet impactful experience once again. This trip allows you to witness the majestic Himalays and reach the foot of Mt. Everest in a little frametime.

And again thanks to Mr.Dhurba Dharel for making my trip a best and memorable trip. The iconic peak was amazing as I have few days left in this beautiful country Nepal, you made me possible to finish my trek in a short period of time. Hope to see you again and explore other beautiful places on upcoming visit to your country.
